Scanner4K ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. Data We Collect

Scanner4K collects minimal data to provide its core functionality:

• Authentication data: When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address (if you choose to share them). This is stored locally on your device only.
• Scanned documents: All documents you scan are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, access, or transmit your scanned documents to any server.
• Subscription data: In-app purchase and subscription status is managed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not process or store payment information.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect analytics or usage data.
• We do not use tracking or advertising frameworks.
• We do not share any data with third parties.
• We do not transmit your documents or images off your device.

3. Camera and Photo Library

Scanner4K requests access to your camera to scan documents and your photo library to import or export images. These permissions are used solely for the app's core scanning functionality. No images are transmitted off your device.

4. Local Storage

All app data, including your scanned documents, preferences, and authentication tokens, is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage (Documents directory and UserDefaults). Deleting the app removes all stored data.

5. Third-Party Services

• Sign in with Apple: Handled by Apple's authentication framework. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Google Sign-In: Used for authentication only. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings within the app. This removes all locally stored authentication data. Since we do not maintain server-side accounts, no further action is required.

7. Children's Privacy

Scanner4K is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
